Founded in 2008, Xiangwang Rubber has grown from a single production line into a dedicated industrial rubber band manufacturer operating a 10,000 square metre facility. Today the plant runs at a daily output of 30 tons, supplying stationery brands, photovoltaic enterprises, food processing packers, logistics operators and industrial assemblers across more than forty markets. Natural rubber bands remain the reference material for elasticity and tensile recovery. Sourced from qualified plantation supply and compounded in-house, they deliver the snap and holding force that packaging lines and stationery assembly require. Standard sizes ship from stock, while custom widths and wall thicknesses are extruded to order.
EPDM weatherproof rubber bands answer the failure mode that natural rubber cannot: outdoor exposure. EPDM holds its elastic memory through ultraviolet radiation, ozone, rain and temperature cycling from roughly minus forty to plus one hundred and twenty degrees Celsius. Photovoltaic installers use them to bundle and secure cabling on rooftop arrays, where a band that cracks in year two means a truck roll, not a re-order.
Food grade latex rubber bands are produced on a segregated line under documented hygiene controls for direct and indirect food contact: bakery packaging, produce bunching and fresh-food retail. Each lot is traceable to its compound batch.
Custom dimension rubber bands cover the requests that standard catalogues cannot: unusual flat widths, non-standard inside diameters, specific durometer readings, colour coding for production line identification, and private-label packaging.
Industrial buyers do not take certification claims at face value, and neither do we. Our compounds are tested and certified against SGS and REACH requirements, with documentation available per production lot rather than per marketing year. Heavy metal content, restricted substances and migration limits are verified before a batch is released, not after a customer asks.
This matters most in regulated channels. A European stationery brand cannot place a product on shelf without REACH documentation behind every component, including the band around it. A food processor's supplier questionnaire will ask for migration data. Our SGS test reports and FDA food-contact documentation are kept current and filed per lot, so that our customers' compliance teams are not doing detective work at the point of shipment.
Manufacturing experience accumulates in the places buyers never see. Over eighteen years we have built a compound library that lets us match a competitor's sample by reverse analysis rather than guesswork. Our extrusion dies are maintained to tolerances that keep flat-width variation inside a band's acceptable range, which is the difference between a band that runs cleanly on an automated banding machine and one that jams it.
Incoming raw material is inspected before it enters the mixing room. Compound batches are tested for tensile strength, elongation at break and permanent set. Finished goods are sampled against AQL levels agreed with the customer, and ageing tests simulate the shelf and service life the band will actually encounter.
Two customer groups illustrate the range we support. Stationery brands buy volume, colour consistency and retail-ready packaging: bands that arrive flat, untangled and colour-matched to the previous shipment. Photovoltaic enterprises buy environmental durability and long-service reliability, often against a project specification rather than a catalogue number. Both are served from the same plant, on the same quality system, with different release criteria.

A typical engagement starts with a sample or a drawing. We quote against material, dimensions, durometer, colour, quantity and packaging, and we will tell you honestly when a specification is better served by a different compound, recommending EPDM over natural rubber for an outdoor application, for example, even when natural rubber is the larger volume line.
Standard items ship within days of order confirmation. Custom dimensions follow a tooling and first-article cycle, with samples approved before production release. Free samples of standard items are available for evaluation, and minimum order quantities are set by extrusion run efficiency, which is why we publish them rather than negotiating them case by case.
